When I had woke up, Jade was still sleeping, so I had just quietly gotten out of my bed, and tucked her in, planting a small kiss on her head before I left my room. I was already making strawberry pancakes for us, and also had made some sausages for Bec to eat. The table in the kitchen was set up with two cups of orange juice across from each other, with a fork and spoon right next to them. The daylight was already shining through the windows, so I didn't bother to turn an actual light on.

I fell asleep pretty easily last night, and had woke up pretty early. At least, seven was early enough to me. I was laying next to Dirk, still, looking around his room, or occasionally sneaking a few peeks at him. I hope he was catching up on his sleep, considering the day that he had yesterday. Hopefully, today, he would feel all better. I didn't like seeing a quiet Dirk.

Yet another attempt at expressing my feelings towards you.
It's more of an attempt of making you aware of what you're worth, though. You don't realize what place you have inside my heart; the place that is higher than anyone else's. Because unlike them, you have been with me through it all. In times of overreacting, to pure stress, and the good times, you were there. And I can't thank you enough for that - I can never thank you enough for that. You listened when I needed someone, and that means more than anything someone could give to me.
 
Through the courses of past years that would soon become present at the moment being, I fell in love with you. It wasn't just love, I feel border-line head over heels for you. It was unintended, I will admit; but not something, that now, I could say I regret. That would be a lie. You became something bigger than what I had imagined. You easily became everything that I needed and everything that I had wanted.
More importantly, you stayed.
You stayed, even though we fought. Even though you knew my faults and flaws, my mistakes and my regrets. And now, we have become closer than ever. Maybe this goes to show that the future will only bring us closer. I can only hope so, because, love, I have only grown more attached to you - I have only fallen harder for you than from the start.
 
I can easily state that you mean everything to me. You always have, and always will. I can't predict that, but I know it, because it has yet to prove me wrong. I have always come back to you, as well as you have always come back to me. And not once have I ever regretted coming back to you. If anything, it has continued to show me the incredible person that you are but that you don't see. Trust me, you are perfection. You are a living and breathing example of perfection. You just don't realize it yet.
 
I know that we may not be together now, but as they say, "you don't know what the future holds."
